Naseej begins with the connection between art, the land, and the memory of place. Beside Wadi Hanifah in Riyadh, local stone volumes connect the cultural centre to its natural setting. Coloured shading ribbons link these volumes and create sheltered spaces for gathering. Their colours express the richness and diversity of Saudi culture, making shade and colour part of the project’s architectural language
